The found remains of animal fur were used for felting. After the domestication of small cattle, it became possible to use clipped animal fur. The first workshops for felt making were established in the 16th century. Rolling presses and rolling machines were invented only in the 19th century. Felting was made by compressing and rolling wool or by mechanical effect of special needles that entangled wool fibers. With the secrets of this handiwork, you can create amazing things: clothes, accessories, home decor, toys and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the masterclass you will get acquainted with the materials and tools for felting, as well as be able to master the basics of dry and wet felting techniques.
